Mary Anointed Jesus‘s Feet
Review: previous songs
Memory verse: John 12:8-“For the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me.“ (ESV)
Read: John 12:1-8
Sing: Mary Anointed Jesus‘s Feet (song recording)
ointment- an oil used to rub on the skin for heath and beauty reasons.
anointed- oil or ointment rubbed or poured on a person. Normally for religious reasons.
True or false:
Act it out: Have someone pretend to be Jesus, Lazarus, Mary, Martha, and Judas. Have Jesus, Lazarus, and Judas sit while Martha pretends to serve them. Then have Mary kneel down and pretend to anoint Jesus‘s feet. Judas then becomes angry and says “Why was this ointment not sold for 300 denarii and given to the poor?” Jesus replies, “Leave her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of my burial. For the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me.”

Learn Through Song
So many of Gods children learn best through song. I learned this when teaching a wonderful little girl. This inspired me to put more of Gods word to classic children's tunes. Please feel free to print all my free bible class materials for your teaching needs.
