Act it out: Have someone pretend to be Jesus, Lazarus, Mary, Martha, and Judas. Have Jesus, Lazarus, and Judas sit while Martha pretends to serve them. Then have Mary kneel down and pretend to anoint Jesus‘s feet. Judas then becomes angry and says “Why was this ointment not sold for 300 denarii and given to the poor?” Jesus replies, “Leave her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of my burial.
