Jesus Appears to the Apostles and then Thomas
Lesson 37 Review: previous songs Memory verse: John 20:29- (ESV) Jesus said to him, ‘“Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.’” Read: John 20:19-31 Sing: Jesus Appeared True or False: 1.The door was not locked? v19 2. The disciples were afraid of the Jews? v19 3. The Father had sent Jesus? v21 4.Thomas believed the other disciples? v25 Questions: 1.Which day of the week did this happen? v19 2.What was the first thing Jesus said to the disciples? v19 3.What did Jesus show them? v20 4.Which apostle was not with them? v24 5.What did Thomas say he must see to believe? v25 Craft: Print off worksheets( worksheet 1 and worksheet 2). Cut worksheet 2 in half. Each child should get one worksheet 1 and a half of worksheet 2. Have the children color them. Once finished have the children cut them out. Place the half circle of worksheet 2 over half of worksheet one. Stick a brad through the center. Now you should be able to turn worksheet 2 around in circles coving half of worksheet 1 at a time.
